Not Just Another Eleraning Module

Spread the love

The thing I love most about online training?

-I don’t have to make a complete fool out of myself in front of a classroom of strangers

-I don’t have to make eye contact with my colleagues after blabbering out the most bizarre answer

-I don’t have to make myself sound interesting during small talk afterwards

It is observed that many people like my-self do not perform to their full potential in a gathering ,while it is an inability to be overcome on a individualistic basis e learning has been my strong suit and because of it I am a more efficient and skilled member in my team.

With the correct programme blend, leaning experience designers are able to address a large audience who are able to absorb the course content in their own time, in the comfort of their work station. I must admit that the first gen eLearning course designer had not ironed out all the creases pertaining to instructional online learning, it was a tad bit frustrating to stare on and on for hours at uninteresting modules focusing only on delivering content and not necessarily an eLearning ‘’experience”. But with the current modules revamped to into an up scaled learning, there is a little bit of something more to look forward too.ELearning can be made more interesting with examples, demonstrations and scenarios. Examples offer insight on where the content is applicable in real life where as demonstrations and scenarios give practical training on how to acknowledge and address the matter and to finally resolve it. It is not productive to invest money, time and resources on online training if there is no change in the performance of the participants as a result therefore it is important to present relevant and interactive content to have the learners ‘’hooked on” to the module. The best kind of eLearning is not the one stocked up on information and facts.

ELearning course designers must comprehend that data is only useful when it results in meaningful outcomes. Information overload is a real threat to the modern day learner and must be avoided. Nice eLearning developers must fathom that people are most often multi-tasking and expected to have transferable skills and have job roles which come with sky rocketing stress levels, therefore modules must be creative and engaging learning and development programmes that will reduce the time that individuals take to develop the skills and knowledge to perform the real-world applications required.

Elearning should be interactive learning otherwise it will loose its purpose, modern tools and techniques are key to a good elearning module.
